Kenyon College hosted the Fith Annual Gala Dinner Auction to benefit Food for the Hungry on Friday, December 4th in Gund Commons. Enjoy dinner prepared by the talented chefs of AVI Food Systems and entertainment by the exciting local group “Six Miles from Nellie.” This year’s gala will honor Marsha Rinehart, Knox County volunteer par excellence, with the William A. Stroud Award for Public Service. Chairpersons for the event are longtime Food for the Hungry supporters Sally and Joe Nelson.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a live fund-a-cause where direct money donations will purchase truckloads of food and financial assistance for families. The evening begins with a reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00. Proceeds from this annual gala benefit needy families and individuals in Knox County.
Thank you everyone who attended and donated during the benefit auction. Please watch the broadcase on December 12th to see the totals from the event!
